With the winter months slowly drifting by us, we often pick up ailments as a result of the cold weather, with this year in particular being especially cold. As a nation we suffer from coughs and colds all year round needing regular trips to the doctors and chemists to boost our immune system and to give our bodies a good MOT. So as time goes by, we age and find it harder to recover, muscles ache for longer and need more care, the brain forgets to readily and our senses can fail us. This “reduction in performance” is not exclusive to humans, think about all the household electrical appliances we have, these all come with a lifespan or guarantee, suggesting that after this time has elapsed the performance of the machine will be compromised, too much limescale in washing machines, bunged up pipes, rusty cars are all symptoms of wear and tear we have to put up with and deal with accordingly.
